Trouville is a commune in France, in the department of Calvados and the region of Normandy. The population is around 5000 people who are called ‘Touvillais’. For interesting architecture, check out the villas along the sea-front and boardwalk, or the former Hotel des Roches Noires, which first opened in 1866. The Trouville Palace is a hotel which dates back to 1918. The Montebello Villa now houses a city museum. Castle Aguesseau was built in the 17th century and underwent a major overhaul in 1853.
