Atlantic City Blackjack certainly isn't a game for the feint of heart or inexperienced. Bets at this table start at $100 and can be as much as $2,000 per hand if you choose to play the absolute maximum. It's no wonder why high rollers love this game, but even they will need to gamble smart.
Cryptologic's Atlantic City Blackjack is played with 8 decks of cards and you can play up to 5 hands at a time. This makes it a fast paced game and one that could be a potential money pit, which is why we've included a free practice version above.
How to Play Multi-Hand Atlantic City Blackjack
The action begins by choosing a bet. This is similar to a real life casino because you make your selection from a pile of different casino chips. You'll place these chips on any of the table places/hands you wish to play before hitting the deal button. Thereafter you'll attempt to reach, or at least get close to, a total of 21 without going over (known as going bust). You'll need to beat the dealer to win though, whilst a draw will prompt a message to 'push' and will return your stake.
Cryptologic has included a help menu, plus their usual array of functions for personalising your gameplay experience.

Its the little things in the electronic BJ scene that keep me coming back or staying away. For this version I avoid it simply because the time it takes for the stupid animation to "check" if the dealer has blackjack or not.

Now here is an interesting version of traditional blackjack. Cool name Atlantic City Blackjack, which gives the game a little bit of intrigue, such as the famous casinos there. Even though we have a low maximum betting limit of only $50, the action can be up to 5 hands with the traditional $2 minimum. Double-downs are somewhat restricted, nut many of them can still be done.

I miss the days when CryptoLogics blackjack was one of the most prominent variants found online - bonuses were amazingly generous back then and it wasn't uncommon to grab yourself a few hundred pounds in a weekend just by playing through the sign up bonuses at a couple of new casinos. Its amazing any of those companies managed to stay afloat infact, but I guess the number of people taking advantage back then was nowhere close to what would happen if similar offers were available today. Like any other online RNG blackjack, sometimes playing this can feel like your being taken for a total MUG, with the dealer turning over 21 after 21 after blackjack... but also, there are sessions where you simply cannot seem to lose. It's extremely streaky, for better or worse, but if you can put up with that, its possible to have a lot of fun playing this, though personally I'm more into games like Spanish 21 and Power Blackjack right now :)

This is quite a good blackjack game, but the audio is so annoying i have to turn it off. It can be quite slow inbetween dealing aswell, other than those little niggles its a good game.
