European Blackjack Gold is a casino game from Microgaming that has been designed to resemble a blackjack game in a European casino. The game is similar to the actual game of Blackjack, with a number of slight differences in the rules. The game has some excellent graphics and animations, which makes it an exciting game to play. The software comes with a number of different options that allows the player to customize the game, with adjustments for speed and other options like Quick Deal and Auto-Rebet. The advanced options in the game allow players to program an auto-play feature that determines the next moves of the player, and can be used to test various Blackjack strategies.
This game of Blackjack is played with two standard decks of 52 cards each. The object of the game, like all other games of Blackjack, is to obtain a card total that exceeds that of the dealer, but remains below 21. The game begins when the player places his bet, and then the hands are dealt out. Once the play is finished, the decks are re-shuffled before the next hand is dealt. In this game as well, Aces are worth either 1 or 11 and face cards have a value of 10.

The 'Gold' series of table games were created by Microgaming when their own basic versions began to look horribly out of date compared to the new wave of casino games being offered by newer contenders on the market, and they did a great job of upgrading their existing games and generous rule sets with a sleek new look. Often such improvements result in a loss of speed, but thankfully that is not the case here - these games are just as responsive as their non-Gold counterparts. Note that this european game is played with two decks despite offering the chance to play up to five hands, a rarity online!
